Why is the IDF striking in Gaza?

The IDF is striking terrorist infrastructure belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization, whose operatives brutally massacred Israeli civilians just a week ago and have been terrorizing Israeli civilians for years. Terrorist infrastructure includes rocket launchers, underground attack tunnels and weapons production and storage facilities, among other things.

The call was sent out using a variety of different means including thousands of pamphlets distributed aerially over Gaza and direct phone calls and text messages to Gazans from ISA personnel, urging them to evacuate south of Wadi Gaza and warning them of the risk of staying in the areas north of the Wadi.

Operation: War on Hamas Saved in your interests

A large number of launches were carried out from the towns of Ayta ash Shab and Ramyeh in southern Lebanon toward Israeli territory. Since this morning, IDF aircraft, tanks and artillery have been used to strike Hezbollah terror infrastructure in those areas.

A short while ago, in response to the launches that were carried out toward Israeli territory earlier today, IAF aircraft struck a Hezbollah military compound.

Earlier today, a terrorist squad that attempted to launch anti-tank missiles toward Israeli territory was struck by the IDF. In addition, a terrorist squad hiding inside a residence from which launches were carried out toward Israeli territory earlier today was also struck.
