Funny how instead of writing each other birthday cards, we're writing each other to Gaza and from Gaza. I got your letter yesterday, and it moved me and filled me with strength. Know that we're okay, we're not missing a thing, and the morale is high. It's important to me that you know that I think about you and us every free second I get, and when I do, I'm filled with happiness and longing. I'm glad you're able to keep working and keep your routine going.

If I told you before that the war has put things in proportion for me, going into Gaza really emphasized that. I'm so happy you're mine forever.
I hope we'll be able to travel together before our studies start.
