Summary of the Month of Ramadan in the Central Command

During the month of Ramadan, the IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police operated throughout the Central Command to counter terrorism while strengthening defensive efforts. As part of the operations, 401 wanted individuals were apprehended, 13 terrorists were eliminated, and 105 weapons were confiscated.
During last year's Ramadan, 27 significant terrorist attacks originated from Judea and Samaria, with 22 originating from the Samaria Regional Brigade and 5 from the Judea Regional Brigade.
This year, there has been a significant decrease in the number of attacks. Only three major attacks occurred during Ramadan, due to extensive counterterrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria and the ongoing operation to counter terrorism in northern Samaria.
Israeli security forces continue to operate to counter terrorism throughout Judea and Samaria in order to ensure the security of Israeli citizens.
