Troops from the 474th Brigade, under the 210th Division, completed several activities last week in southern Syria to locate weapons and apprehend suspects.
During simultaneous searches at various locations, the troops located several weapons storage facilities where RPG missiles, explosive devices, AK - 47 rifles, and large amounts of ammunition were hidden.
All of the findings were confiscated by the troops.
In addition, following intelligence indications gathered in recent weeks, the brigade’s troops, together with field investigators from Unit 504, apprehended and questioned several suspects in the area.
The brigade’s troops continue to operate in the area to protect the security of Israeli civilians, and in particular the residents of the Golan Heights.
