IDF Demands Military Activities within the Nasser Hospital Complex Cease Immediately

Yesterday evening (Feb. 13, 2024), the IDF conveyed to a senior official in the Palestinian Health Authority in Gaza, and via him to senior officials in the Palestinian Health Ministry, the following message:

In the past month the IDF has called upon the residents of Khan Yunis to move to safer areas in the humanitarian zone (Alamozi) and to Deir al-Balah.

We have information that proves that the terrorist organization Hamas continues to conduct military activities within Nasser hospital complex, and moreover that the place was used to hold hostages.

We demand the immediate cessation of all military activity in the area of ​​the hospital and the immediate departure of military operatives from it.
If Hamas does not stop this terrorist activity, within 12 hours, the IDF reserves its right to act against these actions according to international law.

In the meantime, we call for the evacuation of civilians seeking shelter from the hospital grounds to safer spaces in Alamozi and to the shelters in Deir al-Balah.
