Rocket Launcher Found in a Medical Laboratory; Givati Brigade Combat Team Intensify Operations in the Abasan Area in Eastern Khan Yunis

As soldiers from the Givati Brigade began to operate on Hamas infrastructure in the Abasan area in eastern Khan Yunis, the soldiers initiated contact, returned fire, and eliminated two terrorists who attempted to flee after opening fire on them. In the building where the terrorists were located, large quantities of weapons were found, including heavy explosives, grenades, cartridges, sniper rifles, vests, and AK-47s.

In another building that was searched, which served as a medical laboratory in the Abasan area, a rocket launcher and a long-range rocket hidden inside a refrigerator were found.

The combat team's sniper units are also operating to eliminate terrorists. In one instance, the snipers identified terrorists attempting to plant explosives near IDF soldiers, they then opened fire and eliminated the terrorists at a close range.
