Counterterrorism Activities of the Israeli Security Forces in Northern Samaria in January

Throughout the month of January, Israeli security forces conducted counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria. The forces eliminated approximately 55 terrorists, including those involved in terrorist attacks that killed Israeli civilians and those who were on their way to carry out terrorist attacks. Additionally, the troops arrested around 380 wanted terrorists.
The counterterrorism operation is currently ongoing in three main areas: Jenin, Tulkarm, and the northern Jordan Valley, where troops are operating in northern Samaria with "Eitan" APCs for the first time. In recent days, the troops have located numerous weapons, including rifles, handguns, and large quantities of explosives.
Israeli security forces will continue their counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria to ensure the security of Israeli citizens.
