IDF Troops are Deployed and Ready in Defense in the Gaza Strip

As part of the implementation of the agreement for the return of the hostages, troops from the 162rd, 143rd, and 99th Division in the Southern Command were deployed at several points in the Gaza Strip to strengthen the defenses of the citizens of the State of Israel, particularly the residents of the western Negev.

As part of the preparations, commanders of the Southern Command conducted several situational assessments in the field together with the soldiers ahead of the next phase of the hostage return.

IDF troops are prepared in defense and will continue to act resolutely against terrorist organizations to ensure the security of the State of Israel.
