A event for the wounded of the Northern Command in the "Swords of Iron" war was held yesterday (Thursday), led by the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command, MG Ori Gordin.

From the remarks of the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command, MG Ori Gordin:

On my behalf, on behalf of the commanders and soldiers of the Northern Command, and I allow myself to add – on behalf of the entire people of Israel, I want to thank you for your courage and dedication.

Since the brutal massacre on October 7th and Hezbollah's entry into the conflict, you have turned northern Israel into your second home and have done everything to defend it.

You did not look for personal benefit, but the good of the nation. We will not agree to accept any threat or violation of the agreement; we will stand firm against any enemy. We will strike, and prevent any threat from the north.

This is both an internal and external message—to the despicable terrorists, and to the soldiers standing as the guardians of our home, the defenders of our walls, and especially to the residents who have shown resilience for over a year. Now, they seek to rebuild their homes, mend their communities, and, above all, live in security and with a sense of safety.

More than 500 days have passed since the horrific massacre on October 7th, and in war, as in war, there is no certainty about what tomorrow will bring. Amid rapidly changing challenges, one thing remains certain—we are a strong nation, and you are proof of that.

A nation with immense strength and unwavering determination, one that knows how to stand tall with eyes set on the future, yet bow its head in the face of pain.

A nation that spreads light and demonstrates national resilience against an enemy that only destroys and devastates. A nation that builds an army, which in turn, builds the nation.

 A nation that will not give up until victory is achieved.
