In recent days, IDF, ISA, and Israel Border Police forces have been conducting counterterrorism operations in Jenin. Last Monday, the forces also began operating in Tulkarm. So far in both locations, 18 terrorists have been eliminated, and approximately 60 wanted individuals have been apprehended.
Over the last two days in Jenin, the troops located and dismantled over 100 explosive devices intended to be used in attacks against the forces. Additionally, the forces located numerous weapons. In an additional operation, soldiers from the Egoz Unit located a weapons manufacturing workshop in Jenin.
Over the last 24 hours, the forces located weapons, including an M-16 rifle and a pistol in Tulkarm. Additionally, the engineering forces of the Judea and Samaria Division dismantled over 30 explosives that were planted beneath roads in the area.
Israeli security forces will continue counterterrorism operations in Judea and Samaria to ensure the security of the citizens of the State of Israel.
