Troops of the Northern Command continue to operate to remove threats and terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, in accordance with the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, despite Hezbollah’s attempts to return to southern Lebanon.

As part of the activity earlier this week, a vehicle carrying Hezbollah terrorists approached IDF troops in southwestern Lebanon, posing an imminent threat to the force, which subsequently operated to eliminate it.

Additionally, the Commanding Officer of the Northern Command, MG Ori Gordin, conducted a tour of southern Lebanon yesterday (Monday) and held a situational assessment with commanders in the field.

The IDF will continue to operate and remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF troops.
