Troops of the 80th Division, led by the Southern Command and in cooperation with the National Center for Ground Training , have completed a large-scale, inter-organizational, multi-domain exercise in the sector and in the Red Sea arena.

The exercise simulated complex defensive and operational scenarios, with close cooperation between the troops and various security agencies.

Among the scenarios practiced were: response to a surprise terrorist attack originating from the land and sea simultaneously toward communities and military outposts at multiple locations simultaneously; provision of aerial support to ground operating troops; rescue of trapped civilians; response to mass-casualty incidents; evacuation of casualties; intelligence gathering; and command-and-control management during operational activity.

IDF troops together with other security forces, Magen David Adom, and the Israel Police participated in the exercise.
The exercise was conducted in parallel with routine operational activity in the sector, including counter-smuggling operations.

The IDF will continue to conduct routine exercises in order to ensure a high level of readiness, strengthen cooperation among all troops, and ensure the security of the residents of the sector and all civilians of the State of Israel.
