Situational Assessment With Commanders at the Galilee Division on the Northern Front
The Chief of General Staff conducted a situational assessment and spoke with commanders at the Galilee Division on the Lebanese border with the Commanding Officer of the Northern Commander, Major General Ori Gordin, and the Commander of the Galilee Division, Brigadier General Shai Kalper.
Later, the Chief of the General Staff visited Metula and met with the Head Council of Metula, Mr. David Azulay, and other representatives, where they discussed the situation and the importance of the IDF's relationship with the authorities and residents.
The Chief of the General Staff:
"When your enemy is struggling, don't turn around, make it more difficult for them, make it more difficult for them. We are making it more difficult. Also in order to dismantle the enemy further, and we are making it more difficult in order to increase the chances of reaching good conditions, to bring back the hostages, this is a very, very important matter. I think the eliminations are very important. I think they are making it very difficult for them. I believe the command, the divisions, the entire system with the Israeli Air Force, with the Intelligence Directorate, are doing a very good job of identifying the targets and of striking them. We are continuing to do good things, which is possible thanks to having a strong defense."
