As part of the Ministry of Transportation's Operation "Safe Return", a passenger ship bringing Israelis from the Port of Limassol in Cyprus docked today (Friday). The ship arrived at 4:30 AM at the Ashdod Port with over 1,500 Israelis on board.

The ship was secured by an Israeli Navy missile boat. Upon arrival at Ashdod Port, personnel from the Alon Headquarters of the Home Front Command received the returning citizens. The disembarkation and transport of the passengers to their homes—via shuttles organized by the Ministry of Transport—was carried out quickly and efficiently, in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines.

As a reminder, the Alon Headquarters – the headquarters for national missions – is assisting the Ministry of Transportation, in accordance with a political directive within the framework of the Operation "Safe Return". The headquarters also operates the public call center and coordinates all operational entities involved in the mission.
