IDF Struck Hezbollah Terror Targets in Lebanon as Part of Operation “Northern Arrows”

Following the sirens that sounded at 13:58 in the Upper and Western Galilee areas, approximately five projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Some of the projectiles were intercepted and several fallen projectiles were identified in the area.

In addition, following the sirens that sounded at 13:31 in the Western Galilee area regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration, the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanese territory. No injuries were reported.

Following the sirens that sounded between 13:07 and 13:08 in the areas of HaCarmel, Wadi Ara, HaAmakim, and HaMifratz, approximately five projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Some of the projectiles were intercepted, and fallen fragments from the interception were identified at the Eliakim junction.

After identifying the source of the launch, the IAF struck and dismantled the launcher from which the projectiles were fired toward the area of Eliakim.

An IDF reservist soldier was lightly injured as a result of the fallen fragments from the interception at the Eliakim junction. The soldier was evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment and his family has been notified.

A short while ago, following IDF intelligence, the IAF conducted a number of strikes on Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanese territory. Among the targets struck were buildings in which weapons were stored, launchers and additional terrorist infrastructure sites.
