Combat engineers destroy tunnel entrances in Gaza

Our forces in Gaza continue to advance, making significant progress while engaging in fierce battles with Hamas in the last day.
Last night, Nahal Brigade soldiers overran Hamas’ ‘Outpost 17’ in Jabalya after a 10 hour firefight. Dozens of terrorists were killed in the battle. Significant enemy materials were recovered from the outpost relating to Hamas’ operational plans.
An IDF fighter jet killed Ibrahim Abu- Maghsib, the head of Hamas’ Anti Tank Missile Unit in the Central Camps Brigade. The attack was carried out using intelligence provided by the ISA and IDF Intelligence agencies.
Since the beginning of the war, about 9,500 rockets and dozens of aircraft have been launched towards Israel. About 12% of the total launches towards Israel landed in the Gaza Strip and about 900 launches were carried out from civilian sites such as: mosques, schools, hospitals and cultural centers.
Over 130 tunnel entrances have been discovered by IDF forces since ground forces entered Gaza.

In response to rockets fired at Israeli communities from Lebanon, we struck Hezbollah military positions, anti-tank missile launchers, and operational technologies used to direct terror activities.

IDF and Israel Border Police forces conducted a counterterrorism activity in the Jenin camp. During the activity, forces exchanged fire with armed terrorists, over ten terrorists were killed, and over 20 wanted suspects were apprehended, among them Nur and Minur Salma, Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists.
The IDF continues to encourage the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Since October 21st, over 700 trucks of aid have entered the strip.
