11th Field Hospital Established in the Humanitarian Area of Al-Mawasi

As part of the effort to provide humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza, COGAT announced the establishment of the 11th field hospital in Gaza. This, in cooperation with the international community, was facilitated by the RAHMA Organization, and coordinated with the IDF and COGAT. The field hospital compound has recently begun operating in the Al-Mawasi area, within the Humanitarian Area in Khan Yunis.

The establishment of the hospital was coordinated and facilitated by bringing in medical teams and equipment, which includes medications, beds, food, water, tents, first aid supplies, ventilators and equipment to set up the compound. These were brought in through the Kerem Shalom Crossing after security checks. The field hospital, the seventh to be established in Al-Mawasi, will be operated by the Red Crescent Organization and is expected to include 40 beds, 3 operating rooms, and an intensive care unit.

The IDF, via COGAT, will continue to act in accordance with international law to provide humanitarian aid to the residents the Gaza across all areas, focusing on the medical field.
